Karen de Lathouder New Member of Eneco's Executive Board

10-08-2023 The Supervisory Board of Eneco has appointed Karen de Lathouder as Chief Operating Officer of Assets and member of the Executive Board, effective from November 1, 2023.

Karen de Lathouder has been working at BP since 2017, where she held the position of Operations Manager among others, before being appointed as CEO Netherlands in 2022. She has also worked for Orpic, AkzoNobel, and Shell in countries including Denmark, Oman, Germany, and the United Kingdom.

Regarding her new role, she states: "I look back on a fantastic period at BP, during which I could be part of the largest transition of our time. Eneco enables me to pursue my personal sustainability ambitions and contribute to the execution of Eneco's One Planet plan, which aims to be climate-neutral by 2035. I am excited to realize these ambitions together with my new colleagues."

Mel Kroon, Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Eneco, adds: "Karen brings extensive international asset experience and competencies in transformation and operational excellence. We look forward to her arrival and wish her success in her new role."
