Marc van Gelder new member of Heijmans’ Supervisory Board
23-09-2024 The Supervisory Board of Royal Heijmans N.V. intends to nominate Marc van Gelder as a new member of the Supervisory Board.
Marc van Gelder has held various executive and supervisory positions throughout his career. He served as President and CEO of Peapod at Ahold and as CEO of Mediq. Currently, Van Gelder is a Non-executive Director at Action and Supervisory Director at Incision and J.P. Morgan European Discovery Trust plc.
Van Gelder's nomination is supported by the Works Council and follows the decision by the Supervisory Board to temporarily expand the board to six members, in anticipation of the vacancy that will arise in April 2025.
At the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders to be held on 4 November 2024, Van Gelder will be nominated as a member of the Supervisory Board. His term will run until the annual General Meeting of Shareholders in 2028.
