BDR Thermea Group Announces Appointment of New CEO
01-12-2023 BDR Thermea Group has officially announced Tjarko Bouman as the new Chief Executive Officer. The appointment is part of the succession plan following the decision of the current CEO, Bertrand Schmitt, to step down, a decision disclosed earlier this week.
Tjarko Bouman, currently at the helm of NTS Group, will assume his new role on February 1, 2024. Prior to his time at NTS, Bouman spent nine years at Vanderlande Industries, serving as the Managing Director of Vanderlande Warehouse Parcel International from 2015 to 2020. Before that, he was responsible for global services development at Vanderlande, overseeing the spare parts business, the global services desk, and the expertise center for services.
In response to the appointment, Marc de Jong, Chair of the Supervisory Board of BDR Thermea, emphasized Bouman's extensive experience in Business Development, Operations, and Supply Chain, both in advisory and management roles. De Jong praised Bouman's track record and highlighted his ability to seamlessly combine innovation and growth with a customer-centric approach. He pointed out Bouman's expertise in business transformation and digital skills, particularly in developing customer value propositions.
