Chris Figee new supervisory director at DNB

20-02-2025 Chris Figee has been nominated as a new member of the Supervisory Board of DNB, effective March 1, 2025.

Since 2020, Figee has served as CFO and member of the Management Board at KPN. Additionally, he has been a member of the Supervisory Board and Chair of the Audit Committee at Royal Schiphol Group N.V. since 2022, as well as a member of the Economic Board Zuid-Holland. From 2014 to 2020, he was CFO and member of the Management Board at a.s.r. Nederland N.V. Earlier in his career, he held positions such as Director of Strategy & Performance Management at Achmea and Partner at McKinsey & Company.

Figee has been nominated by the Supervisory Board of DNB and will be appointed on behalf of the shareholder by Minister of Finance Eelco Heinen for a first term of four years.

Martin van Rijn, Chair of the Supervisory Board, on Figee’s appointment: ‘His extensive experience in the financial sector, combined with his executive expertise, makes him a valuable addition to the Supervisory Board. His knowledge of financial analysis and risk management will contribute to strengthening the board further.’
