Claude Sarrailh new CEO Ahold Delhaize Europe and Indonesia
15-05-2024 Ahold Delhaize has announced that its Supervisory Board has nominated Claude Sarrailh as CEO of Ahold Delhaize Europe & Indonesia Member of the Management Board.
Claude joins from Metro AG, where he has been Chief Customer and Merchandise Officer and member of the Management Board since 2022. Claude joined Metro in 2006 and held several customer, procurement and executive roles in a number of European countries. Claude also held various positions outside Europe for the company. From 2018 to 2021, he served as the CEO of Metro China.
Claude will join the company on September 1 2024 as Executive Vice President. Following shareholder approval, he will start as member of the Management Board of Ahold Delhaize and CEO of Ahold Delhaize Europe & Indonesia on October 1 2024. Then, current Ahold Delhaize Europe & Indonesia CEO Wouter Kolk will step down.
