Changes in Heineken Supervisory Board

16-12-2024 Heineken announces changes to its Supervisory Board, with Peter Wennink as Proposed Chairman.

The Supervisory Board of Heineken has proposed changes to its composition, to be discussed during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in April 2025.

Peter Wennink, former CEO of ASML and a member of the Supervisory Board since 2024, is nominated as the new Chairman. He will succeed Jean-Marc Huët, who is stepping down after 11 years. Huët describes his tenure as Chairman as a great honor and expresses confidence in Wennink as his successor: “I believe Peter will successfully guide Heineken into the future.”

Additionally, Maarten Das, a member of the Supervisory Board since 1994, will step down in 2025. Alexander de Carvalho, grandson of Freddy Heineken, is nominated as his successor. De Carvalho has been a non-executive member of the Board of Directors of Heineken Holding NV since 2013.

Furthermore, Nitin Paranjpe is proposed for reappointment. Upon shareholder approval, Paranjpe will assume the role of Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
